A. Potts Fall 2025 Runway

Internship January 2025

Working together with Aaron Potts to design a look for Fall 2025.

Through using excess knit fabrics from previous collections, this transition piece was made as the intersection of materiality and design. Limited by fabric, the blocked patchwork design allowed for use of all waste fabric collected.

Vibrato Look:

Look 1: Designed by Connor Chan-Jansens

Vibrato Jacket: Unstructured full pleated jacket distorts the traditional shape through movement and volume characterized by the wearer. Made through a use of pattern making and tailoring techniques.

Covert Shirt: Inspired by the formality of tuxedo shirts, the high collar, and fold over cuff shirt features a sheer torso overlay that obscures its nature and alters its form.

Warp Skirt: Asymmetrical black linen skirt falls asymmetrically from low waist. Contains 4 button yoke closure and draped front and back panels fall to floor length with under skirt that lays at the ankle creating excess movement within the wearer.

Tailoring Project

Crafting a tailored blazer with traditional hand and machine techniques.

Couture Dress

Inspired by Madame Grès. This dress is made using hand couture techniques. The dress features a duel layered bobbinet bustier, with boning and waist stay. The shell of the dress is made from hand pleated, fluted and pin-tucked knit fabric.
